Our philosophy is simple: to create exceptional, one-of-a-kind furniture that honors the past, celebrates the present, and builds a sustainable future. We believe in the power of wood to tell stories. From a spark of creativity in a humble garage, we are driven by a passion to craft furniture that is as unique as the individuals who own it and we embrace sustainability, giving new life to reclaimed materials .
We are committed to using the best hardwoods and reclaimed materials that we can get our hands on. Whether that is using wood from responsibly harvested forests that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FCS) or using an old piece of furniture to create something new instead of going to a landfill. Where the materials come from is part of the story!
We provide services from start to finish on custom and one of a kind furniture. Starting with consultations for design throughout the finished piece in your home or office, we are here to communicate the process and make sure that you truly have a piece of furniture that fits your style and space.
Our process is rooted in traditional woodworking techniques and modern technology. We start by understanding our clients' needs and vision for the piece. Then, we carefully select the materials and use precision tools to bring the design to life. We believe that attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are essential to creating furniture that is both beautiful and functional.
For years I was a sales and business man wearing a suite and tie and running the rat race. Helping people with their 401(k) or IRA's and selling cars. I grew up around the "old-school" sales environment where guys would keep a bottle of Scotch in their desk just to get by. Some days you made $5,000 and others you made ZERO. After a little bit of success, and a ton of failures, I decided to trade in the white-collar for a blue one with the support of my beautiful wife. The idea of woodworking was never part of the plan. One day my wife told me that she needed a table for our living room. We just happened to be getting rid of a lot of shipping pallets at work and I was able to take some home and start trying to make a table. That table created an itch that I cannot finish scratching. After a few ideas had come to fruition, and I was left looking at tangible items that I made from some raw materials and my hands, I knew that building furniture was what I wanted to do with my life moving forward. It was enjoyable, rewarding and most of all, not sales. As my skills and techniques continue to grow, so does the standard of furniture that I build. I can honestly say that designing and building furniture has become better than any old bottle of Scotch sitting in a desk ever was!
